Even though our debates are just over some time ago,current issues still seem worthwhile to continue arguing on.This time round,I see more and more students being extremely aggressive to their lecturers or teachers,or even amongst themselves.
Firstly,the incident that went all over the news was the famous NTU student who stabbed his professor.
Secondly,also not long ago,a student was being charged by his teacher for showing disrespect.Simple,this student didn't mind his language and hurled vulgarities at his teacher in front of the whole class.
Thirdly,fighting and bullying cases are still going on IN SCHOOLS.Have you read the Chinese papers(lian he zao bao) about female students being aggressive to their schoolmates?Also,not to forget the girl(let her be X) who plotted to "break the virginity" of another girl(let her be Y) just because X don't like Y.Remember the article that Mdm Chan showed us:"Spare the rod,Spoil the child"?There'll be a link attached to this post PURELY FOR ENTERTAINMENT,related to our topic here.
Lastly,I really appreciate this class for us,the well being civilians,displaying the 3 core values in everyday life.Since Sec 3 till now I've never seen one commiting the above acts(I SERIOUSLY HOPE NO!).Also,I'm beginning to feel the class spirit and teamwork,following that the major improvememt in academics.Nevertheless,we have to sharpen our thoughts and polish our language to get us to the apex!
